What are the Benefits of Martial Arts Training? Pt1

Step into virtually any gym these days and you will find a class on involving some form of “cardio martial arts”, such as Tae Bo. But are such classes really martial arts?

I would have to say no, as there is more to martial arts training than just exercise, such as discipline, dedication, artistry, combat, self defense. However, I would also say such classes can be a fun introduction to martial arts for the mainstream public.

UFC 76 Results

Keith Jardine beat Chuck Liddell via split decision. Chuck seemed comfortable in the first round, but didn’t have an answer in rounds 2 and 3 for Jardine’s repeated roundhouse kicks to his thigh and ribs. Although surprising it was a clear victory for Jardine.
